In 1994, WHO defined safe injection as "injection that does not harm the recipient, expose medical personnel to avoidable dangers, and pose no threat to others". On the contrary, it is unsafe to repeatedly use sterile syringes, needles or skin puncture with both. The injection is defined as "unnecessary injection" when it can be taken orally, the injection drug is inappropriate or harmful, or the symptoms, or the diagnosis does not prompt the use of injection method for treatment. Standard for safe injection: glass syringes shall be sterilized with pressure steam and "one needle for one person, one tube"; Disposable syringes should be used for one time, and should be properly disposed (destroyed, burned or buried) after use.
Therefore, disposable syringes, which are widely used now, are one of the necessities for safe injection. Syringes refer to disposable sterile syringes made of plastic materials, with or without needles, which are used to inject liquid medicine or liquid immediately after aspiration.
